The Queens Arms Fundraises for Torbay Hospital Radio

Post written by:

Torbay Hospital Radio would like to extend a massive thank you to the Queens Arms in Brixham. They raised £894.80 for our charity through donations and funds raised at their annual Sausage and Cider Festival earlier this year.

Yesterday, Chris MT and Leanne collected the cheque at the pub’s charity presentation event on behalf of Torbay Hospital Radio.

How Will the Funds be Used?

Their fundraising will enable us to buy 178 personal radios for the patients or a number of public area radios for the local hospitals. Our shows help to entertain and heal patients through uplifting music and chat.

About The Queens Arms

It’s a brilliant pub with a real community feel with bands, quizzes, meat draws, beer and cider festivals, and more. They raise thousands for different charities every year. Plus they have lots of great ales and ciders.
