Devon Freemasons donates £1500 to Torbay Hospital Radio
Every Spring and Autumn Freemasons from all around Devon meet to support local organisations that require financial assistance, among which are children’s charities, schools, youth centres, and locally based charities including hospices, hospital services, and cancer charities. This year they have donated £1500 to Torbay Hospital Radio.

On the 19th of November 2019, our membership unanimously decided to once again join the HBA (Hospital Broadcasting Association). We are now proud members of the organisation!
Off to a New Home
Our old Outside Broadcast Unit which has been an iconic element of Torbay Hospital Radio, has now been given a new lease of life! Its new owner will be whisking it off to New Zealand where they will keep us updated on their adventures!

Torbay Hospital Radio is an established radio station and charity that has been providing music and entertainment to the patients and staff of Torbay Hospital since 1977. The charity is run solely by volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to entertaining and fundraising for this great cause.

Christmas Show Broadcast
Andrew, the host of our award-winning breakfast show, along with Sue from the Tuesday night show, once again produced some outstanding Christmas Day entertainment, bringing festive feels to the staff and patients of the hospital from 8 am until midday
Christmas Party
Our team started off the year with our annual “Christmas Party” held once again at the Babbacombe Inn, a big thanks to Martyn for hosting us, we had a fantastic evening!
