Support from the local community
Our local Coop in Shiphay has kindly donated £200 towards the cost of the broadcasting desk for Studio 2. We are very grateful for this lovely donation and the support from our local Coop store.
How Coop’s funds will be used
The new desk that we would like for Studio 2 will enable us to train new members without them going straight onto the live desk, as well as allow us to record more jingles, radio plays, podcasts and more. We could even hire out Studio 2 to help us raise more funds for our charity.
How the Studio 2 desk fundraiser is going
We have also been awarded £900 from a Torbay Lottery grant, as well as received other small donations from other activities and crowdfunds. We still have a long way to go to reach the target amount needed to buy the new desk.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all our supporters, especially to those who have supported us throughout the pandemic.
