What a year 2023 was for the team at Torbay Hospital Radio!
Torbay Hospital Radio’s 2023 achievements
- We handed out over 100 mini radios to patients on the wards, as well as a number of radios to the day rooms
- We welcomed more new volunteers to the team including two Tonys, Matty, Anthi, Leila, Andy and Mark
- We fundraised at various events throughout South Devon (too many to count – thanks to Keith)
- We added over 200 new songs to the database thanks to Paul and Keith
- Donation from the very kind Kevin Foster
- Prize donations from lots of individuals and groups across the community
- Gift donations for the children’s ward
- Raised nearly £2500 via the Coop Local Community Fund
