Overview of our AGM
Our annual AGM takes place every March. At this year’s event we ran through the latest updates, shared achievements and discussed improvements and feedback.
We also gave out certificates to members who have been volunteering for a number of years and to those that have been a significant support. To thank them for their hard work.
it was a great turn out at this year’s event. Maybe due to it being followed by a friendly catch up and pint at the nearby pub afterwards.
New leadership team
Every other year the Trustee positions are put to vote.
This year, the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary were up for nomination.
We now welcome Keith Reeves as our new Chairman, Lee Thomas as Vice Chairman and Leanne Bevan continuing as Secretary. Both Paul Harding’s Treasury position and James MT’s Programme Controller position are not due for vote until next year.
Keith has been an integral part of the charity over the last few years – from running our busy event schedule to supporting Lee as Vice Chairman. Keith is hardworking, has lots of ideas and a big heart, making him a perfect choice for our next leader. We wish Keith all the best in his new role.
Lee Thomas has spent the last five years as Chairman and now gets to take a step back (and get some much needed time back) as Vice Chairman. He’ll also be continuing as our Engineer as well. Lee has been an incredible leader over the past five years. From the studio renovation, launching FM, other modernisations and more, Lee has made an incredible impact for both volunteers and listeners alike. We massively thank Lee for all that he has done for the charity.
Leanne continues as Secretary, as well as running the marketing efforts. Again she has been a vital part of the team, especially when it comes to promotion.
