New Trustees for 2026

Post written by:

This month we hosted our annual AGM – gathering together our members with Trustees providing updates on the finances, events, station and more.

This year we had three Trustee roles up for vote – Vice Chairman, Station Manager, and Treasurer.

Thank you to our former Trustees

Thank you to Paul Harding who spent the last year as Treasurer managing our finances. He will continue to host his weekly radio shows and write articles in Torbay Weekly.

A massive but bittersweet thank you to James Mackenzie-Thorpe who spent the last few years as Station Manager controlling the programme of shows and managing new members. Unfortunately, due to work and theatre commitments, James has now left the charity for the time being. We’re very grateful for all the support he’s provided over the years and for his fun and insightful Early Late Show on Monday evenings.

Welcome to our new Trustees

First up we are delighted to welcome Monday morning host, Tim Herbert, as Vice Chairman of the charity. He’ll be supporting Keith and the rest of the leadership team with the running of the charity.

It’s also a welcome back to Lee Thomas, who will be taking on the Treasurer role. Lee was formally our Chairman for many years and was a great help particularly through lockdown, the installation of FM and the studio refurbishment.

And finally, we are excited to welcome multi-show presenter, Matt Judge, as our new Station Manager. He’ll be looking after the newbies and managing the schedule of shows.

We’re looking forward to an amazing 2026 – working together to fundraise for the charity and spread more music and entertainment across the hospital and wider areas.

In the meantime…
